Located on the cliffs overlooking Hanalei Bay, the Princeville Hotel is one of the fanciest hotels on the entire island and is sure to capture you attention with its unique architecture, which is why it makes it onto the list of places to see. Built in a series of tiers, the hotel offers incredible views of the jewel colored Hanalei Bay from almost all of its rooms, and the grass growing from the roofs of the tiers allow for them to blend in with the natural beauty of its surroundings. The elegance and location of this hotel offers its guest a very rich experience, but you will pay for it.

To get there, take Hwy 56 on the north shore to Princeville. In Princeville, turn north toward the ocean on Ka Haku Road and follow it all the way to the end. There is a small public parking lot near the guardhouse at the entrance to the hotel, and a path with a lot of steps lead you down to the beach which is public access. From there, if you wish, you can check out the grounds of this prestigious hotel.
